FruFru Health Food Store By Agnes Lukacs
Agnes Lukacs signes the interior design concept for the FruFru health food stores in Bucharest. Influenced by the brands’ mission to inspire a healthy lifestyle for it’s clients, the designer has created three spaces that share the same concept: the urban garden.
Each venue features it’s own vertical or ceiling garden. Suspended from thin metalic frames, plants such as ivy, vine, leather flower, jasmin, honeysuckle and various aromatic plants are the main focus of the interiors.
Agnes playfully mixed natural materials, geometry and color to create these three vivid interior environments. For the walls and floors she used light wood essences like beech or spruce that also enhance the natural light, combined with colored geometric insertions.
For lighting the designer used suspended lamps, with geometric thin metal structures and painted to match the floor details and furniture.
Aside the vertical gardens, most of the pieces of furniture like the dining tables with metal bases and wooden tops or the colorful Supaplex bench were custom designed by Agnes for FruFru.
The bench was selected among the objects exhibited in Romanian Design Week 2015. It is made from solid oak, natural and painted and can be used as a three seater bench or transformed into two stools by simply removing the central wooden part.
