La Crema Estate at Saralee’s Vineyard in Windsor, California is a historic barn that has been renovated into the La Crema wine tasting room and function space. The iconic barn has a rich history dating back to the 1900’s when Richard and Saralee Kunde planted the 200-acre vineyard while living on property in the barn.
Brayton Hughes’s design concept was to pay homage to the original barn while reinventing the interiors and incorporating the La Crema brand. The juxtaposition of the Rustic exterior and the clean lines used throughout the millwork and residential furniture transports guests through different wine tasting experiences.
Guests can linger in the main wine tasting bar, relax by the fireplace, upstairs is a VIP tasting experience and the decks give expansive views of the surrounding property.
The light filled space reflects elements of the La Crema brand: urban, youthful, feminine, sophisticated, and contemporary using a light neutral palette accented by La Crema’s signature red.
